About genpotential

genpotential was founded by Lisa Christie, a Coaching Psychologist, who wanted to give leaders a deeper understanding of human behaviour so that they can more effectively engage their teams.

About GenPotential

The History

Originally working for Lloyds Bank and PwC, Lisa started her consulting business in 2011 and has worked with SMEs across a range of industries, as well as with major organisations.

Lisa also undertook her thesis with an elite unit of the British Army, working with them for 2 years on motivation and perseverance amongst their recruits.

Through her experience, Lisa saw the need for general leadership development, together with two areas of specialist support.

Firstly, she saw a disconnect between senior leaders and the younger people entering the workforce, which led her to commission independent research on the generation gaps emerging in the workplace.

Secondly, as a neurodiversity specialist, she saw leaders struggling to know how to support those with ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia, and these individuals often feeling woefully un-supported at work.

This led to genpotential’s two specialist offerings to help leaders gain the tools and confidence to get the best from their people of all ages and neurotypes.
