Learning Styles Questionnaire
Learning is not a one-size fits all process, and we all have different preferences for how we approach and experience learning.
This questionnaire, developed by Peter Honey and Alan Mumford*, will help you to understand your own learning style as well as to recognise ways in which others may learn differently.
This leads us to greater self-awareness, more effective relationships when working with others, and a greater appreciation of our own, and others’, strengths.

How it works
What happens next:
When you have submitted your responses, we will email you a summary showing your learning preference and a description of each of the styles.
This will be treated confidentially and is only for the purpose of your own personal development.
If you have any questions, please email info@genpotential.com
How to complete the questionnaire:
- The questionnaire contains 80 questions
- If you agree with the statement tick the box
- If you disagree with the statement leave it blank
- This may take around 10-15 minutes to complete
- Your initial response is probably the best for the purpose of this exercise. Don’t spend too long thinking about any one item.
- There are no right or wrong answers so please answer honestly.
